Shoe lovers in Washington, DC now have an eco-stylish shoetopia to shop at. SimplySoles, the premiere online shoe store and catalog, has launched their first retail store at 1438 Park Rd. NW in the Columbia Heights area.
Lead-free paint, reclaimed wood flooring and found antiques are the backdrop to a collection of Tory Burch, Chie Mihara, Delman, Bettye Muller and Lilly Pulitzer shoes, as well as owner Kassie Rempel's personally-designed line of exclusive lillybee footwear. Any catalog, phone or online orders of lillybees are shipped in quilted bags named the ShoeShuttle instead of shoe boxes, thereby saving trees.
Future plans for the retail store include the addition of clothing, jewelry and art by local artisans, making it a true one-stop destination for shopping this holiday season.
